Published three times per year and available free of charge, the magazine welcomes contributions from anyone involved or interested in international education in Canada or at partner institutions elsewhere, including practitioners at colleges and universities, people in all levels of government, NGOs and the private sector, and students. It provides the missing locus for critical reflection on the practices and policies of internationalization in Canada.

Each issue contains five articles of between 1,500 and 2,000 words in length, with the aim of having one from each of the following categories:

Reflections on the experiential aspects of internationalization.
Discussions of the development, implementation and challenges of internationalization policy at the institutional or governmental level.
Sharing of new and innovative practices.
Articles on internationalization from people at institutions in other countries that have partners in Canada.
          Broad critical reflections on internationalization.

The magazine is published and edited by the Office of the Associate Vice-President International of York University and is housed on the AVPI website.
